Prettyful

Last night, some guy's car decided to start on fire outside of town while waiting in the construction. (You think Iowa is bad... they don't make you sit for a half hour) He had three dogs with him, and they needed somewhere to be while his sister came to get him. He said 10 pm originally. 10pm turned into 2am. 2am turned into 10am and he didn't show up until 12:30pm.
This is rat. The thing weighed less than a pound. Icon wanted to eat it. There was a golden retriever puppy who was in heat and kept chewing on everything. Then there was this poodle thing that kept trying to hump yellow dog and it was just awkward. I was not sad to see them go. Kostya was, though. I think he needs a friend.





You gotta admit she's cute. Her name was actually Buttercup.

I picked 2 pounds of green beans today. That was only from half my plants, too. I really need a pressure canner. I don't want to buy one right now because I would need a high altitude one, and they're super expensive, and I don't know how much longer I'm gonna be here. So I'm just freezing things. I'll freeze carrots, too. I have a lot of them. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE carrots so I'm going to plant more after I yank all of these up. And zucchini. That's getting frozen too.

Tonight the sunset was gorgeous. It always amazes me how pretty the sunsets are here.
