Its an apricot avalanche!

I have been mooching (and, once, stealing) apricots for the past few days. I just spent the last few hours canning apricot jam and whole apricots. I have 9 half pint jars of jam, and three quart jars of apricots. I plan on using them to make apricot cobbler, or pie. I also bought a crap ton of jars and 25 lbs of sugar and 15 lbs of flour. I had to buy new containers to put them in. I think I'll just stick to buying things bulk, especially if I can get a Sam's Club membership. The sugar only cost me $13.

My garden is killing me. I cannot keep up with the zucchini. I pulled six out of it the other day, another four are ready now. I still have two. One of these huge suckers gives me SIX loaves of zucchini bread. I need to pick beans tomorrow. Carrots are pretty much ready, and I'm thinking that if I pick them all, I can plant more. This is only the garden at my house. The garden at Jason's has EVEN MORE EVIL ZUCCHINI. Plus all the corn, and the cucumbers and most of the tomatoes. I weeded that one today. It was hell.

Last weekend I took the kids to Drums Along the Rockies. It was a lot of fun. I have a lot of drill ideas and guard ideas. I really need to get in gear and start writing drill. Maybe I should spend less time riding. No. I refuse to give up horse time. I guess I just need to get up earlier.

I can't write anymore...
