Float on

I had a great weekend. Spent some time with a friend, and went to Palo Duro canyon, in Texas. It was very, very pretty. It was like a mini-grand canyon, and the doglet had a good time too. There were lots of animal tracks and I got pretty close to some deer. I was going to put him in doggie daycare for the day, but he hasn't had his Bordetella vaccine and I can't justify giving it to him for only a few times a year. He got some muddy paws and I got some muddy shoes. Luckily I was smart enough to pack my amazing pink sneakers. I still want the whack job rainbow glittery ones. I just cant see spending that kind of money on them. Some pictures from the adventure:

I'm listening to a mix CD I got for my birthday a few years ago. I thought I lost it and was kind of upset when I could never find it. Not necessarily because of the person it came from, but because I actually LOVE all of the songs on it. I think that it is rare to find a normal mix cd where all of the songs fit a person. Yeah, I've made mix cd's for people, and I'd like to think they weren't flipping horrendous, but I'm sure they weren't great. Sorry guys!

So, remember that amazing job I had at the vet clinic? Lets play mad libs.

Two years ago, I was mauled by a __(noun)____, and the ___(adjective)__ "business manager" let me scream and bleed for __(number and unit of time)__ before helping me. It should have been covered on workman's comp, but the _(adjective)__ "business manager" never filed the ___(noun)__. Yesterday, I got a __(noun)__ in the mail, and some __(adjective)___ phone calls from a ___(noun)___. I called the clinic and the ___(adjective)__ receptionist answered and told me to __(verb)___. The receptionist is a __(noun)__. I'm pretty sure they are also __(verb ending with -ing)__ the business manager. The hospital told me that he never filed the _(noun)__ and they would fax it to __(personal pronoun)_ again. Oh, and btw, could I please make a payment of __(outrageous number)__ in full immediately. Oh, and you also have another _(noun)__ waiting from that follow up visit. Go figure.

An old co-worker told me they had the same problem. It took her __(number)__ years to get the issue resolved and had to get a __(noun1)__ involved. I called a __(noun1)__ and they gave some free advice. They said they would call the business manager and __(popular idiom)__. The __(noun1)__ called back and said the business manager told them to __(verb)__. After making several phone calls to both the __(noun2)__ agent and carrier, they said they would fax him some more forms, and that was the best they could do.

A really nice __(noun)__ at the _(noun2) office called back and said I could start the __(noun)__ myself, but it wasn't guaranteed to get the __(adjective)__ "business manager" to pay the bill. The state office is also sending him a __(noun)__ but it also isn't guaranteed to fix the problem. If the two year deadline runs out, I'm going to have to file a __(noun)__ through the state, and actually hire a __(noun1) for an __(quantitative adjective)___ amount of __(noun)__.

This is exciting, no?
