When goblins and ghosts appear! /end second grade Halloween song....

I have felt like absolute crap. My throat hurts, I cough, I can't breathe. I hate being sick. Good news, though, is that on Thursday I get my H1N1 shot.

Sweetness.

Today we got out of school early due to football. What could be better? I got to watch law and order and eat red velvet cake. I also got to play outside with Kostya, clean up the yard, and do some dishes. Oh yes. What better way to spend the day? I swore I was going to get stuff done. Ha ha.

Anyway, so Friday we had our last home game (or so I thought...turns out there might be one more...) and we did Thriller and Crazy Train and Apache. The sound wasn't there, but it was really good. My bassist's fingers were too cold for him to play everything, but overall, it went well. I was on the field with my colorguard, and it was pretty hilarious. I also added to my little family that night.

Meet Icon.

So named because black cats are a Halloween icon, and it is almost Halloween. She is a fluffy little thing, and is a talker. I swear this is my last indoor family member. Cross my heart and hope to die.
Ophelia doesn't like her. She tries to bite me if I pet Icon before her. Cats. Kostya leaves her alone. Tries to play, but Icon isn't quite sure what to make of him yet, and just puffs up. It's pretty cute. We had some snow on Sunday. Massive flakes. Good thing they didn't stick.
I have also started working on Christmas projects. I'm actually hoping to get everything done I want to this year. We'll see how it goes.
