Then I decided to toss some hamburger, vegetables, beef broth, and barley into my crockpot and make some beef and barley stew, and go hiking. I am now under the impression that crock pots are the best inventions EVER. Turn it on, and leave. Come home to food!
Kostya and I went to Picture Canyon today. I was sick of staying inside every day, especially since today it was relatively nice out. So I went.
It was really pretty. I need to get Kostya some boots so his poor feet don't get chewed up anymore. He kept getting stickers in his feet. The first time I took one out he tried to bite me, but after that he just lifted his feet so I could take them out. He also needs a harness I can use to pull him up places and stuff. He would gladly follow me up rocks and stuff, but a lot of them are too steep for him with just his collar and leash. There were wild horses, but I didn't get pictures of them that turned out well, because they were so far away. There were also cows in there, and I know the horses were wild because its BLM land and well, yeah. I had a lot of fun climbing around on the rocks. In my rich fantasy life I was day dreaming about how nice it would be to go horseback riding out there with someone (read: hot cowboy) but unfortunately, I had to make due with walking and following someone else's horse tracks.
Last night I carved my pumpkin.

I roasted the seeds today. Mmm.
Tomorrow, hopefully it will be nice enough for me to go riding.
