I just learned Thriller to teach my guard tomorrow morning. This is going to be a blast.
This weekend was wonderful! I went riding on Sunday at the ranch. I had so much fun. I finally feel like maybe I could really fit in here. Not that I felt like I wouldn't before, but you get my drift. I got to ride. I learned that while I have a fairly balanced seat, I tend to put my feet back to far and so I need to remember: feet forward and heels down. It's also interesting riding a horse that neck reins and isn't some plodding trail horse. I tell him to go left by pulling a tiny bit on the left rein, putting the right one against his neck, and touching him with my left heel. Not kicking. Touching. I hardly have to move for him to know what to do. It's nice. It was also hard not to bounce like a sack of potatoes at the trot, but also remember not to post. Lol. Lots to think about.
This is the horse I rode. His name is Ahab.

Once again, I'm completely exhausted and feel like I accomplished nothing.
