My entire body hurts. My throat hurts, my head feels like it's going to explode. I hate being sick. I went to bed last night at about 8, and woke up at 6:30. Went back to sleep, woke up at 9:30, told church I wasn't coming, and went to sleep again until about 11:45. I had to go to church this afternoon to conduct choir anyway. I hate feeling obligated to go. I enjoy going to church, I just don't like feeling like I HAVE to. Add to that fact that while I was standing there, I almost passed out. Great. Yesterday, I was offered a job in Kansas. It was kind of awkward. I'm not sure how, or where they got my name, but they said the pay was pretty good. It would be 5-12 band and possibly choir. They asked for my card (My card?! Do music teachers carry cards?) I said I had no idea what I'd be doing, so I gave them my contact info and said thanks. Then I went and took a nap in the van. The kids did well in their concert, and the drive home was uneventful. I came home and slept. I think I'll continue to lay on the couch and watch a Law and Order marathon and possibly sleep some more.
