Three dog night

I have Zeus for the weekend and my house is a tad bit crowded. Three dogs is a lot. Three dogs and two cats in my little house is too much. He wont settle down. He's probably going to whine and be a jerk all weekend. I've got so much stuff in my house. I have these huge goals of organizing my craft room, and cleaning my kitchen, but I'm sooo tired when I eventually get home. I spent two hours tonight working with Maisy. I got the key to the fairgrounds gates, and walked her to the round pen. She didn't even care. I let her walk around a bit, and dragged the saddle in and set it all on the ground. She smelled it, but was generally uninterested.

I ended up getting the saddle on her with no problem. I also got it cinched and she didn't even care! I couldn't believe it. I let her walk around with it on, then went and got her hackamore, which is too small. I don't think they counted on her being a large horse. (she is also fat) She let me put it on her without too much fuss. The reins are too short, and it just doesn't seem to fit right. I'm considering taking a part time basic horse training class at LCC so I know wtf I'm doing.
