Last day of freedom

Monday, January 21, 2008

Classes start tomorrow. I am not ready to give up my freedom. Despite working 40 hours a week, and crazy hours, I would rather do that than have class. I think I am ready to be out of here. Last night was the holiday party for work, and I decided it would be a good idea to be DD. It wasn't a horrible idea, I got paid. A little. One drunk, puking kid, one kid who wouldn't stop kissing me and trying to make out with me (kisses=not an acceptable form of gratuity) and then being the only sober one at drunkfest, IC was kinda crazy. I needed a body guard, who just so happened to be in Florida. Lucky. It was cold, and snowing, and well, cold and snowing. I just looked outside and it is STILL snowing.
Sheesh.
I finally finished my ear flap hat! It matches the mittens I made, but don't have pictures for. Unfortunately. Next up is the Unseamly sweater, and I need to start thinking about my recital dress, which I am going to be sewing, not crocheting.
