I had a good time back home, mostly. I started to miss my own house. I got a Kindle for Christmas. It's pretty sweet. I've got lots of books on it already.
I am not sad to have 2010 done with. In fact, I could chalk it up to one of the worst years ever, especially there towards the end. The whole last half of the year. This year will be better. My New Years resolutions are these:
1. Do more for me. I do and do for everybody. People ask for volunteers and I jump. I like to help out. It makes me happy. But I also like to craft and read and play my trumpet for myself. It's been a long time since I've crafted without the pressure of a deadline. Ive got lots of projects, I just need to set aside some mental health time to do them.
2. Think more, act less. I have a tendency to let my emotions run my life. No more.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO MORE SODA. This kidney infection has said so. I had a 7 up today to help settle my stomach, but I will not be drinking any more soda. I'm past the headaches. So the rest ought to be easy. I put this on my list ever year, and do okay for a few months.
Those shouldn't be too bad. Every semester I used to have a song list. I switched it this year to be a year thing, since my life isn't necessarily governed by semesters.
