I have had a splitting headache all day. It made for painful teaching. I assigned parts today in the play, and hopefully (fingers crossed!) I have the cd tomorrow to practice the whole thing with these kids. I also have to start making props and stuff. Not excited. I taught 3 piano lessons today. Helped my little choir kids with their Christmas solo thing. Went across the street and my adopted grandparents gave me dinner and such. They're sweet people. I'm currently eating the delicious turkey stew she made. I'm starving.

They had to put one of the horses (JJ) at the ranch to sleep today. It was the horse my student rode. He had a lot of problems with his feet, but he was a really sweet horse. They gave him a surgery a few years ago to cut the nerves to his feet so he couldn't feel the pain, but they grew back. They took him to the vet to see if a surgery would help him again, but it wouldn't. It was very sad. I always hated doing that at the vet clinic because I would always cry and I felt like I was intruding on someone else's private grief.

I have 7 blankets on my bed. I love it. I mean, I don't love the fact that I have to have that many on my bed in order to stay warm at night because I don't have central heat. I just love the weight and the enveloping and how it makes me feel nice. Flannel sheets. Down comforter. Mmm. I put up Christmas lights outside! They're purple. I've had my tree up for a while, so that is no big deal. Thanksgiving break was okay. I mean, I got to see my friends and seeing my family was mostly nice. I hate the drama, so I'm not sure if I'm going to go home for Christmas. My adopted grandparents told me I am more than welcome at their house, so I might just take them up on it. My Christmas cards are freaking sweet. I haven't decided who is getting which one, because they are all different, but some of them are hilarious. And probably sending me to Hell.
